Henry is 3 months!

Gah!  I have a 3 month old.  Oh how time is flying!

I have to say, though, I thought I’d be sad… like, he’s growing up too fast.  But really, I just love it.  I loved having a newborn, I loved having a 1 month old, I loved having a 2 month old, and now I really love having a 3 month old.  He is just the absolute best!

Henry has seriously gotten so old this last month.  He plays on his stomach on his play mat.  He loves looking at his reflection.  He sits up so well in the bumbo and plays with toys.  He brings toys to his mouth.  He knows how to pull the butterfly on his bouncy seat to make another toy spin.

He still eats quite a bit.  I’m lucky if I get 4 hours in between, but it’s usually 3.  Bedtime has been going so great.  He looooves his nighttime bath.  And then is ready for jammies and bedtime!  He even has been just going right to sleep without crying!  Not every time, but more times than not.  So amazing!

Cloth diapers are going great.  I’ve used disposables a couple times when I’m not caught up on laundry and honestly, I don’t like them.  Both times he’s had an “up-the-back” incident, which we never have with cloth.  I’m just happy we’re happy with our choice.  Plus, his big diaper booty is cute.

Overall, I think the biggest thing I can say about Henry is that he is such a happy baby.  He smiles when he wakes up, when he’s being changed, when we’re talking to him… or to each other, he stops eating to smile at me, and when he’s in the bath… he seriously smiles all the time!  Oh, and the giggling. Don’t even get me started on the giggling.  Cutest. Thing. Ever.

So there.  There’s me being a braggy mom about how great my baby is.  Because, well, he is. :)

Now take a look at some cute photos of him.

I love watching him sleep.  He is so peaceful.

He’s finally interacting with the swing.

One of my favorite outfits of his.

Then Patrick came to talk to him.  There is nothing that fills my heart like seeing my son love his dad.

What’s cuter than a baby in a hood?
