Brent and Breanne + fam!

Last spring Katy O Photo did a little giveaway. I was very excited when my friend Breanne won and wanted to do a family session. I have known Brent and Breanne for 7 years now! I worked with both of them at Red Lobster for quite awhile, and am so grateful to have stayed in touch. I actually met Breanne when she was pregnant for their oldest, Amaris, who is now in school! It’s crazy how fast time goes by. I had left Red Lobster for a little bit, but was there for some of Breanne’s pregnancy with their 2nd little girl, Mackenza.

All that to say, I have loved knowing this family over the years and watching their sweet girls grow up. Last week we got together to do some photos. We headed over to a cute little park in Kentwood to read some books, play with some chalk and go on a walk. I loved seeing the girls interact! Amaris is such a great big sister and so sweet. Mackenza is fully embracing being a two year old and definitely kept me on my toes, cracking me up the entire time—she was such a ham! And I was so happy that the girls let us have a little time at the end to get some great shots of Brent & Breanne. The parents are such an important part of what makes family photos, so I love it when I can get a few of them alone.
